Deadlines for Printed Marketing Materials

Q: How long does it take to design an ad, insert, newsletter or direct mailer?

A: There are a number of things to consider when working with designers, printers and/or newspapers on your marketing activities.

The most important question to ask each vendor you work with is what their deadlines are based on when you want customers to see your piece (referred to as “launch date”). Generally, printed marketing materials take 4 to 6 weeks to launch.

Q: How do I get an image used in a Unitron ad or direct mail piece?

A: Unfortunately, we are not able to give you most of the images we use in our local marketing advertising or direct mailers due to copyright restrictions. You can visit our image resource page for free  or inexpensive image websites.

Q: Where do I find product images for my marketing activities or website?

A: You can find free product images and lifestyle photos on this site. You can visit our image resource page for free  or inexpensive image websites.

Be sure to carefully read the usage rights and licenses on the images sites before you download an asset.

Marketing Support

Q: How do I get help from Unitron to create an ad, direct mailer or other marketing piece?

A: We have partnered with Nutshell to help our customers create custom marketing materials and use pre-designed templates. View the Print section of this website to see what templates are available.

Funds for Marketing Support

Q: Does Unitron offer marketing co-op dollars or free marketing materials to help me promote my practice?

A: We do not have co-op funds to support your local marketing efforts. However, there are a number of free materials and assets available to you on this website.

If a template requires customization, you can work directly with Nutshell, our marketing partner, to update these templates, or you can download the high resolution PDF and give to your designer to update.

Q: Do I have professional development funds to help pay for marketing activities?

A: Some customers who are a part of loyalty program like mySuccess, trueBlue or lightBlue have funds to support marketing activities. Speak with your Unitron Account Representative for more information at 800-888-8882.
